Terms of use

Last updated: 29 October 2026

1. Purpose

These terms of use ("Terms") govern access to and use of Time signature and its services (the "Platform"), published by Time signature (the "Publisher"). Purchasing a subscription is governed by the Terms of sale.

2. Acceptance

Creating an account means accepting the Terms in force. The Publisher may update them; the applicable version is the one published on the site, and any substantial change is notified to registered users before it takes effect.

3. Access to the Platform

Public pages are freely accessible. Learning content (videos, scores, interactive exercises, learning paths, resources) is reserved to account holders and, for paid content, to active subscribers. Users provide the necessary equipment, connection and browser at their own cost.

4. Account

Users undertake to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Minors under fifteen may only create an account with the consent of their legal guardian; any purchase by a minor requires the guardian's authorisation.

Login credentials are strictly personal and confidential. Users are responsible for keeping them safe and for any use of their account, and must inform the Publisher without delay of any unauthorised use.

5. Personal use — no account sharing

An account and a subscription belong to a single individual. The following are prohibited in particular: sharing or reselling credentials, simultaneous use of one account by several people, making content available to third parties, downloading, recording, capturing or redistributing it by any means, and circumventing technical protection measures.

To protect the content and other members, the Publisher logs access to protected content (date, content viewed, pseudonymised IP address) and may limit the number of simultaneous sessions or distinct pieces of content viewed over a period. Abnormal use may lead, after a warning except in urgent cases, to suspension or termination of the account under section 9.

6. Licence to use the content

For the duration of their access, the Publisher grants users a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-commercial right to use the content for private learning. No ownership right is transferred.

7. Conduct and user content

Where the Platform allows posting (community feed, messages, associated Discord server, support requests), users must not post any unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or harassing content, content infringing privacy or third-party rights, or unsolicited advertising. Users keep ownership of their content and grant the Publisher a free licence to display it on the Platform while it is published. The Publisher may remove any content breaching the Terms.

8. Availability

The Publisher strives to keep the Platform available 24/7, without any guarantee of result. Interruptions may occur for maintenance, updates or force majeure; they are announced on the service status page whenever possible.

9. Suspension and termination

Users may delete their account at any time from their settings or by writing to [email protected]. In the event of a serious breach of the Terms (in particular section 5), the Publisher may suspend and then close the account after a formal notice left unremedied for eight days, or immediately in case of fraud or serious security breach; the user is told the reasons and may submit observations.

10. Liability

Content is provided for educational purposes. The Publisher is not liable for indirect damage or misuse of the Platform. Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory rights of consumer users.

11. Personal data and cookies

Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy policy, and the use of cookies in the Cookie policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, users may use consumer mediation free of charge (see the Terms of sale); failing an amicable settlement, the courts designated by law have jurisdiction, and consumers may bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence.
